![]() ![]() But those will still only be visible in combination and displayed at 29.97 frames per second. But for the sake of archival clarity: If the video is at 29.97 then there are indeed 29.97 video frames per second which are going to be composed of two interlaced fields. I am guessing you are just horsing around & joking. My turn: Yes you can because a frame can be devided into 80 subframes. It's almost like writing music but with pictures - everything has to be on time and on the beat, but the software is making me lay things out in a timing format that doesn't match what music follows. Hence leaving me with a situation where I can't get my clips / flashes to be the exact length they need to be in order to maintain consistency throughout the video. The issue in my Videostudio is the grid displays in FPS - so there's only 29 individual notches between seconds. So the image or strobe flashes directly on each quarter note beat. Then I want my clips / shifting pictures / strobe effect to match this length in time. So I guess my math from the start is wrong though- I need to figure out if my song is 140 BPM, what the length of each beat in seconds is. I see no options to change the grid from FPS display to Seconds/Milliseconds display.Īs you mentioned, this is exactly what I'm having trouble with- sure, I can get close- but after time, the effect does start becoming noticeably off time. That's the problem - I've checked the preferences and settings up and down. LateNight > why are you futzing with the math? Cant you import your audio file 140, and adjust the grid in Videostudio, so that it matches the audio? Not if it's one or two, but if the video is long enough, there will be an accumulative effect, that by the end of the vid will be very noticeable.
